The five-hooded serpent regarded as the worshipper of Lord Vishnu is seen shielding the divine image of Vishnu Lakshmi from above. The hoods are finely placed looking like an umbrella.

The use of copper for the construction of this statue increases the sanctity of the statue as copper is one of the purest metals on earth. As a revered deity in Hinduism, Vishnu is a symbol of protection and harmony, and this small yet powerful manifestation serves as a spiritual focal point, inviting devotees to connect with the divine presence.

Embodiment of Divine Grace and Protection

This exquisite copper figurine captures a profound moment of divine presence, depicting Lord Vishnu, the preserver and protector of the universe, cradling his infant form. The artistry showcases the deity seated on the coiled coils of Sheshnag, the celestial serpent, who forms a protective canopy with its multiple heads. Sheshnag, also known as Ananta, is revered as the king of all serpents and is often depicted as the bed upon which Vishnu rests, symbolizing the cosmic ocean of existence. This representation evokes the eternal and omnipresent nature of the divine, resting serenely amidst the vast expanse of creation.

A Symbol of Cosmic Harmony and Spiritual Power

Lord Vishnu, one of the principal deities of Hinduism, is the Supreme Being in Vaishnavism. He is the embodiment of peace, goodness, and prosperity, and his role as the preserver ensures the balance of cosmic order. The image of Vishnu resting on Sheshnag is a powerful symbol of how the divine sustains and protects the universe, even in moments of profound stillness. The coiled serpent signifies the cycles of creation, preservation, and destruction, a continuous cosmic dance orchestrated by the divine. In Hindu mythology, Sheshnag is also considered to represent infinity and the infinite nature of Vishnu's power.

Craftsmanship and Devotion

Crafted from pure copper, this figurine is not merely an object of art but a conduit of devotion and spiritual energy. Copper has been prized for centuries in religious artifacts for its purity and its perceived ability to conduct spiritual vibrations. The detailed work on the figurine, from the serene expression of Lord Vishnu to the majestic heads of Sheshnag, speaks of the reverence and skill invested in its creation. This piece is ideal for adorning your home altar, meditation space, or any corner where you seek to invoke a sense of peace, protection, and divine grace. It serves as a constant reminder of the benevolent forces that govern our existence and the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Its presence can inspire introspection and foster a deeper connection with the spiritual realm, bringing a sense of tranquility and well-being into your environment.
