Annapurna: The Divine Provider

Shiva, realizing the error of his ways, sought Annapurna's forgiveness. She reappeared in Kashi (Varanasi), offering him food and restoring balance to the world. This tale underscores the importance of food as a tangible manifestation of the divine. Annapurna's presence in the kitchen is believed to ensure that there is always food to nourish the family.
