The Divine Protector

Behold this captivating copper representation of Lakshmi-Narasimha, a powerful and benevolent form that blends the fierce protective energy of Lord Narasimha with the nurturing grace of Goddess Lakshmi. This striking statue, crafted with careful detail, captures the essence of this revered deity in a harmonious union. The copper material lends a warm, earthy tone, enhancing the intricate detailing of each figure and the sense of sacredness this sculpture emanates.

The Legend of Narasimha

The story of Narasimha, an avatar of Lord Vishnu, is one of unwavering devotion and righteous fury. It is said that Hiranyakashipu, an arrogant and powerful demon king, was granted a boon that made him virtually invincible. He could not be killed by human or animal, inside or outside, during day or night, on earth or in the sky. His tyranny grew until his own son, Prahlada, a devout follower of Vishnu, became a target of his wrath. When Hiranyakashipu challenged Prahlada to prove Vishnu's presence, Vishnu manifested as Narasimha – neither man nor beast, appearing at twilight (neither day nor night), at the threshold (neither inside nor outside), and placing the demon on his lap (neither earth nor sky), Narasimha tore the demon apart, fulfilling the conditions of the boon while upholding dharma.

Lakshmi's Calming Presence

While Narasimha embodies power and justice, the presence of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, prosperity, and auspiciousness, brings balance and serenity to this form. She is often depicted seated on Narasimha's lap, symbolizing the calming of his fierce energy and the restoration of peace and harmony after the destruction of evil. In this beautiful sculpture, Lakshmi bestows blessings and prosperity.

Craftsmanship and Dimensions

Crafted from high-quality copper, this statue possesses both beauty and durability. It measures 7.5 inches in height, 3.5 inches in width, and 3.5 inches in depth, making it a perfect addition to a home altar, meditation space, or as a focal point in any room. The weight and feel of the copper further emphasize the quality and sacredness of this representation.
