Embodying Divine Intervention

Bring the profound spiritual presence of Lord Vishnu into your home with this magnificent collection, showcasing all ten of his divine incarnations, the Dashavatara. Each figure, meticulously handcrafted in India from gleaming brass, stands as a testament to artisanal skill and devotion. This ensemble represents a cosmic narrative of preservation and righteousness, depicting Vishnu's interventions throughout the ages to restore balance and dharma to the universe.

The Cosmic Dance of Preservation

The Dashavatara are not merely figures but embodiments of divine action, each playing a crucial role in the grand cosmic drama. From the primal Matsya who saved the Vedas from the depths of the ocean, to the valiant Parashurama who rid the earth of tyrannical kings, to the compassionate Buddha who brought enlightenment to the world, and finally to the Kalki yet to come who will usher in a new era – each avatar signifies a specific epoch and a unique challenge met. This collection allows you to contemplate the multifaceted nature of the divine and its ceaseless effort to maintain order. The lustrous brass captures the inherent radiance of these divine forms, making them a focal point of spiritual energy and artistic beauty.

Craftsmanship Rooted in Tradition

These exquisite statues are born from the rich heritage of Indian craftsmanship. Each piece is individually made, ensuring that no two are exactly alike, imbuing them with a unique soul. The intricate detailing, from the serene expressions to the traditional attire and symbolic accoutrements, speaks volumes of the sculptor's dedication and understanding of the sacred forms. The use of brass, a metal revered in Hinduism for its purity and auspiciousness, further enhances the spiritual significance of these figures. Displaying these Dashavatara figures can be a powerful reminder of the cyclical nature of time, the importance of righteous action, and the ever-present guidance of the divine. They are more than mere decorations; they are conduits of spiritual energy and artistic excellence, handcrafted in India with profound reverence.

How to keep a Brass statue well-maintained?

Brass statues are known and appreciated for their exquisite beauty and luster. The brilliant bright gold appearance of Brass makes it appropriate for casting aesthetic statues and sculptures. Brass is a metal alloy composed mainly of copper and zinc. This chemical composition makes brass a highly durable and corrosion-resistant material. Due to these properties, Brass statues and sculptures can be kept both indoors as well as outdoors. They also last for many decades without losing all their natural shine.

Brass statues can withstand even harsh weather conditions very well due to their corrosion-resistance properties. However, maintaining the luster and natural beauty of brass statues is essential if you want to prolong their life and appearance.

  • The best and simplest way to maintain a brass statue is to clean it at least twice a week using a soft cloth or cotton rag. This will prevent dust from accumulating on the surface. Dusting is especially important for outdoor statues since it is prone to dust accumulation much more than indoors.

  • To give a natural shine and luster to the statue, you may apply coconut or olive oil using cotton on every portion. You can use a toothbrush to get to the small crevices but do not be too harsh. This will make the brass statue appear fresh and new with a polished look.

  • In case you have a colored brass statue, you may apply mustard oil using a soft brush or clean cloth on the brass portion while for the colored portion of the statue, you may use coconut oil with a cotton cloth.

Brass idols of Hindu Gods and Goddesses are especially known for their intricate and detailed work of art. Nepalese sculptures are famous for small brass idols portraying Buddhist deities. These sculptures are beautified with gold gilding and inlay of precious or semi-precious stones. Religious brass statues can be kept at home altars. You can keep a decorative brass statue in your garden or roof to embellish the area and fill it with divinity.
