A Moment of Divine Triumph

Witness a pivotal moment captured in enduring bronze, where divine grace confronts primal power. This captivating tableau encapsulates an epic legend, offering a profound visual narrative for your contemplative space. It invites you to pause and reflect on the eternal struggle between good and evil, and the triumph of righteousness.

The Art of Lost Wax

Crafted using the time-honored Swamimalai lost-wax casting technique, this bronze piece is a testament to meticulous artistry and generations of skill. Each curve, each detail, is painstakingly shaped by hand, imbuing the figure with a vibrant dynamism and lifelike presence. The rich patina, developed through skilled craftsmanship, speaks to the quality and authenticity of this heirloom-quality creation.

Exquisite Detail and Form

The commanding figure stands poised atop the hood of a powerful serpent, a scene rendered with remarkable precision. You'll appreciate the delicate ornamentation on the attire, the serene yet resolute expression, and the dynamic posture that suggests movement frozen in time. The coiled form of the serpent, with its regal hood unfurled, provides a dramatic contrast to the dancer's agile stance. Measuring a modest 6.3 inches in height, 2.5 inches in width, and 2.0 inches in depth, it offers a significant visual impact within a compact form.

Echoes of Ancient Lore

This depiction draws inspiration from the ancient Hindu epic, the Bhagavata Purana, illustrating the story of Lord Krishna's playful yet decisive victory over the formidable serpent Kaliya. Kaliya, a venomous serpent king, had usurped a sacred river, poisoning its waters and terrorizing the villagers. Krishna, in his divine wisdom and power, subdued Kaliya by dancing upon its many hoods, forcing it to retreat and restoring peace to the land.

A Sacred Adornment

Imagine this exquisite bronze gracing your meditation altar, study, or bookshelf, serving as a constant reminder of courage and inner strength. It is perfectly sized to fit on a mantelpiece, a side table, or within a curated display of spiritual art. Its presence can transform any corner into a sanctuary of reflection and devotion.

Enduring Beauty, Timeless Value

To preserve its lustrous sheen and intricate details, simply dust with a soft, dry cloth periodically. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. This cast bronze piece is designed to last for generations, its value growing not only with age but with the stories and reverence it inspires.

How to keep a Brass statue well-maintained?

Brass statues are known and appreciated for their exquisite beauty and luster. The brilliant bright gold appearance of Brass makes it appropriate for casting aesthetic statues and sculptures. Brass is a metal alloy composed mainly of copper and zinc. This chemical composition makes brass a highly durable and corrosion-resistant material. Due to these properties, Brass statues and sculptures can be kept both indoors as well as outdoors. They also last for many decades without losing all their natural shine.

Brass statues can withstand even harsh weather conditions very well due to their corrosion-resistance properties. However, maintaining the luster and natural beauty of brass statues is essential if you want to prolong their life and appearance.

  • The best and simplest way to maintain a brass statue is to clean it at least twice a week using a soft cloth or cotton rag. This will prevent dust from accumulating on the surface. Dusting is especially important for outdoor statues since it is prone to dust accumulation much more than indoors.

  • To give a natural shine and luster to the statue, you may apply coconut or olive oil using cotton on every portion. You can use a toothbrush to get to the small crevices but do not be too harsh. This will make the brass statue appear fresh and new with a polished look.

  • In case you have a colored brass statue, you may apply mustard oil using a soft brush or clean cloth on the brass portion while for the colored portion of the statue, you may use coconut oil with a cotton cloth.

Brass idols of Hindu Gods and Goddesses are especially known for their intricate and detailed work of art. Nepalese sculptures are famous for small brass idols portraying Buddhist deities. These sculptures are beautified with gold gilding and inlay of precious or semi-precious stones. Religious brass statues can be kept at home altars. You can keep a decorative brass statue in your garden or roof to embellish the area and fill it with divinity.
