Lord Bhairava Statue | Fierce Form of Shiva in Panchaloha Bronze

$1438
Includes any tariffs and taxes

In Hindu culture, the youthful personification of Shiva's unadulterated fury is the fierce Bhairva or Batuka Bhairva.

Accompanied by his swan or dog, Bhairava is adorned with flaming tresses that symbolize the rise of inner wisdom, a crescent moon, a serpent wrapped around a skull on his head, jeweled ornaments, serpent waistbelt and an ornament of bell dangling over his shoulder, which would make tinkling sound, awaking devotees and foes in Bhairava’s path, announcing the arrival of the ferocious Lord.

This bronze statute depicts Bhairva as Chaturbhuja, four-armed, holding a khappar (skull cup), Trishula (trident), Paasha (noose), and Damru (drum).
