Superimposed on the cream-coloured background is a plethora of flower motifs. Of a rich pale blue colour, they are woven into the field of the saree as well as into a column down the pleats. Paisleys and vines of matching colour grace the narrow border of this saree, which is further hemmed in by a watery Prussian blue. The colour brightens up in ample proportions on the endpiece wherein the signature banana-leaf motif is to be found.
