Chikankari is the traditional art of Lucknow patronized by the Nawabs. It uses pastel shades of cotton cloth and beautiful Chikan thread work is done all over the dress with mainly floral and creeper motifs. Chikan work is known for its closeness of pattern and fineness of work. This Chikan dress comes in a light pastel shade of light pink with Chikan work all over the dress in a contrasting dark pink threads which make the embroidery prominent. The motifs on it are mostly floral and creeper patterns.
The dress is accompanied by a light pink salwar and a light pink cotton dupatta with chikan work on it also.
