Lord Balaji, also known as Venkateshwara is an important deity worshiped in the states of South India as the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. According to the Vedic scriptures, Lord Vishnu is considered the Supreme Personality of Godhead and the ultimate goal of all living entities. Therefore, keeping the idol or deity of Balaji at home is considered to be very auspicious. But we should be fixed up in engaging in the loving devotional service. Serving the deity of Balaji is indifferent to serving the lotus feet of the original personality of the Lord. It helps us build a sweet and loving relationship with Him.
