He pushed for the abolition of superstitions and social injustices, as well as a restoration to the Vedas' original teachings.
Even if some people disagreed with Dayananda Saraswati's theories, his contributions to the revision of Hinduism and the advancement of social equality are universally acknowledged. Religious and social movements in India are still influenced and inspired by his ideas.
