Jayant Balaji Athavale


Jayant Balaji Athavale is an Indian spiritual leader, In addition to being the founder of the Spiritual Science Research Foundation (SSRF), a non-profit with an emphasis on studying and imparting spirituality.


Before pursuing spirituality, Athavale worked as a chemical engineer in India and the US after completing his chemical engineering degree at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai. In order to investigate and advance the science of spirituality and to offer direction to those looking to improve spiritually, he formed the SSRF in 1985.


The teachings of Athavale place a strong emphasis on the value of spiritual practise in obtaining self-realization and enlightenment. Numerous books on spirituality are among his works, including "Spiritual Practise: Some Basic Principles," "Spiritual Diary," and "Spiritual Science Behind Viral Infections."


Because of his work with the SSRF, Athavale has received attention on a global scale and has been invited to speak at conferences and gatherings all over the world. The organisation has also held a lot of training sessions and workshops on many facets of meditation and spirituality.


For his contributions to spirituality and social welfare, Athavale has received numerous honours, including the Padma Shri award in 2018, one of India's highest civilian honours. People all throughout the world are still inspired by and guided by his teachings as they travel along the spiritual path.
