An accomplished Indian classical dancer and choreographer, Leela Samson. She first learned Bharatanatyam from renowned teacher K.N. Dandayudhapani Pillai. Later, she received instruction from renowned Bharatanatyam practitioners Kalanidhi Narayanan and Padma Subrahmanyam.
Leela Samson has received praise for her technical proficiency, expressiveness, and creative choreography throughout her career. In addition to receiving various honors, such as the Padma Shri and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, she has played on illustrious venues all around the world.
