This book of Atmanivedanam started most unimaginably on this auspicious day, Aug 5, 2024. While still working for the book, "Eternal LovE' that afternoon, Bhagawan's sweet inner prompt melted the heart once again as I heard His Divine sweet inspiration and guidance about these heartfelt songs of Atmanivedanam for the first time. His sweet voice inspired to work on a garland of flowers in forms of poems, prose and Bhagawan's infinite guidance and expectation about Atmanivedanam. Further, He inspired to bring those exemplary devotees who shine in His Heart with their ever exuding fragrance of Atmanivedanam. On this Centenary Birthday, what else I could offer Him that would please my Lord's Heart, other than myself.
Atmanivedanam is a Flower of Love which is offered at His Lotus Feet with humble gratitude as a Song of Surrender.
"The power lies in surrender, in the Song of Surrender alone. When the heart receives that power within, it can develop the strength from the ocean within." With His grace, this loving garland is offered at my beloved Lord's Lotus Feet as a loving offering on beloved Bhagawan's 100th Birthday. With love and mercy, He has granted the title 'Atmanivedanam-Songs of Surrender'. The title was granted by Him and along with it, these flowers from the heart received His eternal strength, courage, grace, and blessings endlessly to decorate and string it with love and gratitude.
The devotees who had stolen the heart of the Lord since yore are placed here as nectar of inspiration to remind us where we need to walk and how to attain the Goal. These devotees have brought great consolation within; if they could win His Heart, then so can we.
Among the nine flowers of the Navavidha Bhakti path, Atmanivedanam, the final blossom, is dearest of all to the Lord.
So, that very afternoon, when Bhagawan inspired me to begin this task, I wasted no time in offering myself at His Lotus Feet, beseeching Him to take charge of this journey. With folded hands, I prayed that Bhagawan may play His Eternal Flute within, so that I may hear the sweet music of Prema day and night.
There was a great source of joy hidden within this flower of surrender. On the first place, He takes complete charge by delivering the soul unto His Will and furthermore, He teaches how to develop the Fragrance of Sharanagati, Atmanivedanam by becoming that flower in His own inimitable way that pleases His Heart always. With this, Swami was beginning a new voyage which was so sweet and memorable that each moment was spent at His Feet to receive this blessing of Divine Love. Without my knowledge, He had transformed this voyage into a saga of love between the Supreme and His creation. In this heartfelt experience, love plays the role to keep the heart, mind and soul tied together mysteriously and live in the power of Sharanagati! I held my Boatman's Feet to help me travel on this new journey so this travel sails smoothly with His grace.
"Hold on to the Boatman; He will cross you across the Bhavasagara!"
Who knew this new work was reaching my way, when i was placed in a task already with an ongoing work! His soothing and comforting guidance further helped with more details in every moment and throughout this sweet journey, this heart felt Bhagawan's Divine Loving Presence all along the way!
