Buddhanusmrti: A Glossary of Buddhist Terms
Buddhanusmrti: A Glossary of Buddhist Terms
Description
From the Jacket:

Buddhanusmriti: A Glossary of Buddhist Terms is an essential resource for anyone who wants to know more about Buddhism and the Buddhist Philosophy. The work consists of the Introduction, the Glossary, the Appendices, and the Index. The Introduction provides a bird's eye view of the Buddhist Literature. The Glossary comprises selective commonly occurring terms in Buddhism. Most of the terms glossed are in Sanskrit for which their Pali and English equivalents are also given. Passages at the beginning of the Glossary, the references following major entries as well as the Appendices will help those intending further research. The index consisting of terms in all the three languages make cross referencing easy.

About the Author:

Recipient of several prestigious gold medals and honours during her illustrious academic career at Nagpur, Kala Acharya did her doctorate from the University of Mumbai. She has been felicitated as Sanskrit Pandita by the Government of Maharashtra besides being honoured by institutions, for her contribution to the cause of Sanskrit. Her research papers presented in various national and international seminars and conferences have been widely acclaimed. Dr. Acharya is the Director of K.J. Somaiya Bharatiya Sanskriti Peetham (a research institute also imparting training in Indian culture) since its inception in 1989.

Testimonials
I received the statue today, and it is beautiful! Worth the wait! Thank you so much, blessings, Kimberly.
Kimberly, USA
I received the Green Tara Thangka described below right on schedule. Thank you a million times for that. My teacher loved it and was extremely moved by it. Although I have seen a lot of Green Tara thangkas, and have looked at other Green Tara Thangkas you offer and found them all to be wonderful, the one I purchased is by far the most beautiful I have ever seen -- or at least it is the one that most speaks to me.
John, USA
Your website store is a really great place to find the most wonderful books and artifacts from beautiful India. I have been traveling to India over the last 4 years and spend 3 months there each time staying with two Bengali families that I have adopted and they have taken me in with love and generosity. I love India. Thanks for doing the business that you do. I am an artist and, well, I got through I think the first 6 pages of the book store on your site and ordered almost 500 dollars in books... I'm in trouble so I don't go there too often.. haha.. Hari Om and Hare Krishna and Jai.. Thanks a lot for doing what you do.. Great !
