About the Author

Born in 1924, Dr. M. Katakkar graduated in commerce from the University of Poona.

The study of palmistry and numerology has been a passion with him for more than five decades. He as authored 16 books, the present one being the updated version of the original published in 1987, besides various articles and research papers.

He is associated with several astrological societies in India. In recognition of his services to his chosen field of study of palmistry, Dr. Katakkar has been hououred with several titles: Samudrik Tilak, Jyotish Mahamahopadhya, Daivadnya Ratna, Jyotish Alankar, Doctor of Palmistry, Jyotish Maharnava and Samudrik Vachaspati.
