About The Author
Vivekanand Jha has been interviewed by The Week, the National Magazine, in its edition published on 15th of November, 2025, as an exclusive, intellectual voice of Bihar, for envisaging the identity of 'Yes, I am Bihari', for the inhabitants of Bihar. Vivekanand Jha is a well-known author, academician and a public intellectual. He taught at various management colleges for decades. His current book Even if we win the world what then? is the latest novel, based on individual triumph over the avalanche of odds stacked against the central protagonist, Vivek. Moreover, this novel is a glowing tribute to the great metropolis, Calcutta, the citadel of Bhadralok and Bhadramahila, on behalf of millions non-Bengalese who took refuge in the motherly bosom of the great metropolis. His last book Buddh Not Yuddh, which is based on the current scenario which is prevalent across the world, where the "Yuddh" (War) has become institutionalised norms. In fact, the world is on the threshold of Third World War, which needs the resurrection of Buddh (peace and non-violence) as an 516 antidote to Yuddh, a mutually assured destruction for one and all. Moreover, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Vision of "Buddh Not Yuddh' finds its reverberations throughout this book. Hence against the backdrop, this is a book which is the need of the hour for the global community to insulate itself from an impending all around destruction. His earlier book The Living Legends of Mithila-part 2 a trilogy, the first series of which was published in the year 2017, has been a pioneer book on 'Living Legends', to showcase the glory of Mithila, a pioneer civilisation on earth. The book was launched in Bihar Museum on 5th of January 2025, in Patna. Moreover, his other book, The Making of Narendra Modi, Unmaking of Jawaharlal, is the revised edition of the pioneer book with the same title published soon after the abrogation of Article 370 of Indian Constitution. With the verdict of the apex court vindicating the decision of the Modi government, the very title of the book too stands corroborated. This apart, the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi verdict delivered in favour of the reconstruction of the Ram Lalla temple, and the fact that Narendra Modi was the "Ejamaan" at Ram Lalla's Prana Pratishtha ceremony, lends further credence to the fact that the Modi era has arrived, bidding goodbye to Nehruvian Secularism that held visiting temples as taboo, leave alone inaugurating the same. His other book, Sanatani Rama, is based on the life of Sanatani Rama, the founder-publisher of Pilgrims. This book was launched on 22nd of January, 2024, in Kathmandu, on the same day as the consecration ceremony at Ayodhya. Significantly, in this book, effort is made to showcase the glory of Sanatan Dharma through the life of Sanatani Rama.
