The idea of this book was conceived by Prof. R.N. Kanungo of Montreal (Canada) on the basis of his visits made to India and Germany where he stressed the need of Indian studies in the field of Time. The bulk of material of this research project was based on the materials related to Time was procured from Emigration Centre, Canada.
This study contains five chapters covering the concept of Time, its historical perspective, the time as a multi-dimensional Con-struct; and method, procedure and measures of Time orientation. Further it deals with the finding out a particular variable and finally presents a comparative study of results. Hence it is an important study in regard to exploration of Time use.
Dr Neelam Verma presently a Reader in Psychology Sundervati Mahila College, Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur, has obtained all her degrees including Ph.D. in Psychology, from Patna University. She has also been awarded Gold Medal from the same University for her outstanding result in M.A. Besides teaching. Dr. Verma is actively engaged in her research work. Her main areas of interest are Leadership styles, self-concept and women studies. Since last ten years she is working extensively in the field of Time Management.
Dr. Verma has attended a number of international conference and has presented papers over there. She has also been the chair person of paper reading sessions in different International Conferences. Her papers have been published in many Journals-Indian as well as foreign.
