Love, deception and vengeance malign the life of a young man who only wanted a perfect ending to his love story. Jai (Shahid) has a vision of the girl he is going to fall in love with. He finds his perfect love in Neha (Kareena) and she falls for him too because of Jai's willingness to do anything to please her.
But things are not what they seem with the demure damsel in distress having a 60 million rupees debt on her. Love struck and gullible, Jai agrees to help her by doing something drastic like robbing a bank. He tries to play a game with Vikram (Fardeen) to get the money only to become a pawn in the hands of the people he loves and trusts the most.
