It was in the late fifties of the last century that the Mother made a declaration to the effect that the supermind, which seemed to the unprepared minds a mere myth, had made of the earth its own home finally, and that the transformation of earthly existence into a divine one, a spiritual reality of the Master and the Mother's vision, had at last become an earthly reality- "The manifestation of the Supramental upon earth is
no more a promise but a living fact, a reality"
Words of the Mother
The Mother knew, acceptance of this Supreme Truth might be delayed, even be ignored, but a time would come when, even the most blind, unconscious and unwilling shall be obliged to recognize it."
And so concrete and physical would be its final impact and so quick its pace of working even for those who had clung loyally to Sri Aurobindo and the Mother that they might feel like being distanced or even left behind, "Things change quickly."
Questions and Answers
Leaving behind all preconceived ideas and planning they would have to walk into the unknown and be ready to brave the risks and hazards of such a Great Adventure, prepare the steps one after another till the final goal, a certain one, be reached in the end. But one thing they must know and know for certain that their body must be the base for the manifestation of the divine. There is no other alternative.
In December 1959 the Mother herself entered the decisive stages of transformation or divinization of the body cells. A follower of Integral Yoga must have to go through successive stages of his sadhana, the Mother suggested, to change himself from within first and then to express it outwardly. This would lead further to a preparation for a way of new creation, the promise of a supramental being to be born on earth. But for such a thing to happen the prerequisite is an honest consent of his heart to discard the habitual ways of his life and begin such exercises of his consciousness as help him spiritualise every aspect of his being.
'If there is in your hearts a sincere "Yes",
you will satisfy my completely,' reminded the Mother, I don't need words, I need the sincere adhesion of your hearts.
