Gond is an art form of central India. The Gonds have a long history of great kings who ruled over Gondwana. Gond king Sangram Shah is known for his Sanskrit work - Rasaratnamala. Another king Hriday Shah is known for his work on music called Hriday Prakash. While the Gond queen Rani Durgavati, is known for her valour on the battlefield against the Mughal king, Akbar.
