Through the ages, on every auspicious occasion, mehandi has always been associated with women.
Even in today’s modern world, the traditional art of mehandi is still very popular.
Mehandi can be made more attractive by various colour combinations and different styles of folk mehandi i.e. Gamthi, Chhundana, Ghunghari, Dots, Zanzari, Phocha and Oxidise.
For desired colour combination, prepare a mixture of 3 tsp. of adhesive cream- Fevicol or transparent glue and 1 tsp. of fabric paint.
Draw beautiful designs with the help of a cone or a 0 number brush.
Let the mehandi dry for 10 minutes. Do not apply any mixture of lemon juice and sugar.
Be careful not to spoil the design by rubbing against anything until it dries.
To remove the mehandi, was it with mild soap and water.
Give a modern look to your personality by applying these designs on palms and legs as well as arms, around the neck on the back like a tattoo.
