tis with deep gratitude that I acknowledge the overwhelming support and love I have received from good-hearted people across the world. The countless campaign messages, emails, and appeals made on my behalf to parliamentarians, politicians, the police, as well as the Vice-Chancellor of Oxford, calling out injustice time and again for months on end. I am, because countless stood with me.
I am most thankful to my Dharma for holding me together through the lowest of the lows and giving me the strength to see through to better days of making my own justice. My parents have been my unwavering pillars of strength, bringing me up in a faith of limitless altruism, giving me values that have taken me from heights to heights. I am indebted to them for always having my back despite adverse circumstances, always encouraging me to follow my heart.
To my extended family, and my cousins for cheering me up. To Elu from Oxford for being a true friend through trials and tribulations that I faced. My guru and Sanskrit scholar, Dr. S. V. Nanda, has been instrumental in guiding me through the nuances and the history of our faith. I am forever grateful to him. Finally, I extend my heartfelt thanks to Shantanu Gupta for guiding me through the cancel culture of the publishing industry, and helping my story see the light of day.
I am humbled by the love and support I have received, and I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for being with me in this journey.
