Dr. Ashish Pareek, an Ayurveda academician and clinician, has completed his post-graduation in Shalya Tantra from National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur. Dr Pareek started his professional career as an Assistant Surgeon in some modern hospitals and later he joined Ayurveda College as an academician. Presently Dr. Pareek, an eminent Ayurveda Surgeon with expertise and experience in Kshara-Sutra management, is working as an Associate Professor in Dept. of Shalya Tantra of S.S.S.B. Ayurveda College and Hospital, Jaipur. He is also working as a consultant proctologist and Ayurveda cancer specialist at Pareek Piles and General Clinic, Jaipur. He regularly performs anorectal surgeries, general surgeries and Para surgical procedures, e.g. Leech application, Agnikarma, Siravedha etc. He also follows an adage "Asurgeon must be a good physician" and that's why he is also engaged in general practice and shows his interest in research in clinical practice and to elaborate the concepts of Ayurveda clinical practice. His interested clinical topics include anorectal diseases, joint disorders, male and female infertility, thyroid disorders, breast diseases, ovarian and uterine cysts, PCOD, calculus, G.I.T. disorders etc. He has been working on the Ayurveda adjuvant therapy in the management of tumours (cancer). Dr. Pareek is well-known speaker and also working to approach Ayurveda concepts through modem scientific manner. He also runs his coaching centre (Pareek Ayurveda Classes) for AIAPGET and other Ayurveda entrance examinations.
