This booklet is the result of a radio programme "Just a Moment" broadcast daily by Garfield King on the radio station "Voice of Barbados." An experienced teacher of meditation, these selected scripts are based on his practical experiences and understanding of spirituality. For him, spirituality has become a powerful tool for the enrichment of life and the resolution of conflict. The text was compiled by students of the Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa-Vidyalaya, St. Michael, Barbados.
This short collection of thoughts will go far, I am sure, in bringing peace to every soul that takes time to study it. Readers may have heard Garfield King's voice on morning radio, taking a moment to set us on course for the day; or will have read his script in the daily paper. This collection of thoughts may help you along the path of spiritual development if you take just a moment.
Ridley Greene, Senior Assistant Editor, The Nation The poet John Clare once questioned: "What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare?"
Garfield King, of the Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga Centre, in this interesting and thought-provoking series, encourages us to take just a moment to stop and reflect on the quality of our daily lives.
