This is a publication based largely on NCSTC's 12 part television serial titled "Kyon aur Kaise?" Be cause of frequent changes, starts and stops in scheduling this programme on Doordarshan-some of them unannounced and sudden-many viewers across the country could not watch several of its episodes. This prompted many people to write to NCSTC and Vigyan Prasar to retelecast the programme and also to bring out a publication based on the serial. Hence, this effort.
