About the Book The longing to communicate to the world that Sathya Sai Baba is Divinity has made Edelio share his spiritual experiences, which by the grace of Sai Baba, he lived on his way to discovering the Eternal Truth. Baba, in His infinite magnanimity, not only showered His love and grace on Edelio, but also opened the path to make this jivi (individual) realize that Truth is his very essence. The journey of genuine experiences next to the Avatar (Incarnation of Divinity), who is Omnipresent and eternal, makes self-realization a reachable path, and liberation, a reachable goal not only for Edelio but for all who intensely follow the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, because every being is that same essence which has been forgotten by basic ignorance. This book narrates the experiences which its author lived, day by day, through the grace of Sathya Sai Baba, and which were collected in his spiritual diary which includes drawings and descriptive diagrams for better comprehension, as well as presents and explains what was said by Sathya Sai Baba about this matter. The said experiences are uncommon and many of them have been described in the lives of Rishis, Saints and enlightened beings of India and other countries. The fact that this has occurred in this era can serve as inspiration to many sincere seekers of the Truth about Atma, so that by having confidence in the words of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and following His teachings, they can achieve the same experiences which the author lived and is living. God is eternal, always presents. He neither goes nor comes. He only manifests Himself from age to age when He incarnates as an Avatar to show His Divine Powers and to give us (humans) the chance to believe. The goal of the Avatar is to elevate the level of Consciousness of mankind and to reveal that each one is that same God. What has the author experienced and is experiencing to make such statements? How did he do it? You will find out in the pages of this book.

Prologue I offer my love and regards at the feet of my Master, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and pray that my words may awaken in the readers the desire, not only to read, but also to treasure this book. Edelio Sanchez has created a practical guide, a Bible, if I may be permitted to call it as such, on how to apply the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in a relatively short time of only a few years, to become a realized soul, a Jivanmukta. Edelio has organized different sources from the talks of Bhagavan (from which we have received fragments of this ultimate Truth) and ap-plied them to his own life in a very intense way in order to reach the goal. The surprising thing about this book is that it was completed. The few books which have been written about the real experiences of self-realization by Gopi Krishna, Dr. Goel and others, were written many years after their learning experiences, or by disciples of the master who tried to transmit what the master taught. But in the case of Edelio, as a doctor he developed the habit of taking notes of all the symptoms and prescriptions of his patients immediately after finishing each consultation. This habit continued while Edelio began to put into practice the teachings of Swami about the path to realization. Since he followed these teachings to the letter in each case, and also gave importance to the instructions in his dreams, his path was not paved with defects nor lack of enthusiasm. Each step was a rung on a ladder that all of us can take. I am grateful to Edelio and to Baba for having given me this opportunity to write this prologue. When I received this request, it was as if Swami was handing me a transcription and telling me: Wake up, son. It's time to start towards the goal. I am sure that many other devotees, as well as myself, have lacked the intensity and the perseverance that are required to reach the goal.

Introduction Hindu teachings, there arose in me a great need to seek a master Owing to some information which I had received about who could instruct me on the spiritual depths, and so I prayed to the Lord to help me to make the wisest decision and to guide me along the path. On 23rd November, 1991, I was invited to the celebration of the birthday of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, this being the first time that Swami' permitted me to enter a Sai Baba Centre. I was then 33 years old and this was very significant to me, having established a special affinity with Jesus. Everyone knows what this age meant not only for Jesus but for the entire humanity. On that first visit to a Sai Centre, I had the perception of an intimate encounter with Him. It seemed to me as if all my life had been focused there. I felt as if that encounter had been planned centuries ago, so that the seeds of true love could flow from the heart, love for the Divine, which later becomes Pure Universal Love. we considered it to be the most important part of our life. Attend-The Sai Centre was extremely important for us. Actually, it was always a need. We would eagerly wait for the day when the devotees gathered there and our lives revolved around the base that was Swami from dawn to dusk.
