Many treat Astrology as merely a tool for marriage matching. In one way, astrologers have to be blamed for this.
The horoscope chart is the DNA of the native. Probably astrology is the only tool available to mankind to assess and determine the marital harmony or otherwise. Also the length of life span and other important life events can be determined through only Astrology.
The general mass is not aware of these particular aspects. Normally Astrologers match the porutham or koota between the janma star of both girl and boy and clear it for marriage. This practice is to be done away with. Instead, the astrologer has to evaluate and confirm all the aspects of life events in a marital life.
A change of mind for everyone is possible on any day. Communists become Capitalists. A billionaire businessman becomes a philanthropist or charity man. Bill Gates left Microsoft and became a philanthropist. Needs and circumstances do change men. But contribution to society is more important than on what platform on which one stands.
~~ Astrology says planets and stars change men, as humans and other beings are just innocent at birth.
The society is surrounded by lot of misconceptions and myths with reference to Astrology and in particular about marriage, Marriage- matching, etc. The author has initiated an attempt to thwart and thrash these bugs biting our society. However, merely a book or couple of articles cannot remove these myths or blind-beliefs. One is required to look at any subject with a layer of cynicism.
