Samir Chandra Das, Ph.D. (Nanotechnology) from Jadavpur University and Ph.D. (Law & Management) from University of Kalyani, W.B. India with about 27 years of experience in research, teaching, and industry. Received B.Sc. (Computer Science) from University of Calcutta, B.E. (Electrical Engineering) and M.Tech. (Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering) from Jadavpur University, India. Received MBA (Human Resource Management) and MLISc. (Library and Information Science) from IGNOU, New Delhi, M.Phil. (Computer Science) from TGOU, India, LL.B. from Utkal University, India. He has Received LL.M. (Labour and Industrial Relations and Administrative Law) from Annamalai University, India. He has published many papers in reputed refereed academic journals. He has authored several books and also undertaken various research programs. He is a member of different professional bodies and is frequent contributor to a number of journals over the years. His research contributions have drawn greater response to issues including employment, industrial outputs and human resource that have been widely acknowledged. Presently, he is a System Manager (UGC Professor Rank) since 2012, Centre for Research in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CRNN), University of Calcutta and Nodal Officer and Chairman, Bio-medical Instrumentation in M.Sc. Course of Joint Academic Programme with University of Calcutta (CU) and The W.B. University of Health Sciences (WBUHS), India. Also a visiting Professor in the Department of Master of Business Management (MBM), Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering (IEE), University of Calcutta and University of Kalyani. Along with 15 years teaching, he is involved in other academic and administrative activities also in Jadavpur University, North Bengal University, University of Kalyani, University of Calcutta, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) and IIT Kharagpur with continue service in different research institute and universities. His research interests in gas sensor, nanostructure sensor, nanodevice modeling and wireless sensor network in engineering field. His present study deals with some imperative aspects of Green Human Resource Management, Green Computing and ICT, Green Internet of Things, Green Environment, etc. which has become an essential component of the contemporary corporate world. The study may provide a platform for further research relevant with the field.
