Book Description
Preface

Manuscripts are the treasures of our ancient wisdom and knowledge and carry a rich cultural and Indian heritage. These are original documents or scripts written manually in different languages and on different materials like palm leaf, cloth, paper etc., and on differant subjects as well.

India has a rich collection of manuscripts among all the other countries of the world. Among these, there are large num-bers of unpublished manuscripts related to the field of Shastras, literature etc. The collection of manuscripts has been well pre-served in Bhagavad Ramanuja National Research Institute, Melkote.

BRNRI has been involved in collection, preservation and digitization of Palmleaf and Paper manuscripts. The deed of pre-serving manuscripts is truly valuable as it helps the posterity to take up further research on different branches of knowledge and dessiminate the same for the benifit of one and all. BRNRI has brought out some titles from its unpublished manuscripts collec-tion. There are many works to be published related to our tradi-tion, culture and rich heritage of great value.

This time, the Institute takes pleasure in bringing out a work titled "Natvatattva-vibhusanam" of Sri Anantacharya.' This work was authored to propound the supremacy of Lord Narayana by refuting prima facie veiws of other schools of thought.

We express our heartfelt thanks to Vid.S.Kumara Regis-trar B.R.N.R.I, Vid. S. Narayana former R.O, B.R.N.R.I, Vid. S. Krishnan Research Officer, B.R.N.R.I, and others for their efforts in making this work see the light of the day.
