Introduction Purișa or faeces supports the body in its appropriate state.'. Its proper formation and excertion is an indication of healthy state of the body. However the proper formation of purișa depends upon the state of jatharagni. The jaṭharagni depends upon the state of tridoṣās of the body and method, content and quality of the diet consumed by the individual.
