Book Description
About the Book
Spiritual practice is an inward journey. A fathomless mine of spiritual wealth lies within the hearts of human beings. Those who worship Truth value what is within and what is without. The endeavor to reconcile the Spirit within and the matter without is a seeker's perennial effort. Ingrained impressions are the greatest impediment to spiritual progress. Mankind is drawn into a dilemma believing that prana (life force) is the only ingredient of eternal creation. Matter and prana are two products of atma (consciousness absolute). The perception of non-Self is the only human sin. It hides Truth from us. Life after life, through the ages, we live in the world of the dead, deprived of eternal joy and beautiful Truth.

About the Author
Ritambhara (The Philosophy of Living in Truth) by Acharya Bijoy Krishna is the harvest of the deepest spiritual practice. This book is a must for seekers of Truth. Using the logic of science, Acharya has delved deep and ripped open the mystery that shrouds Truth. Ritambhara is the fundamental science of spirituality. Truth is realized not by dogma or bigotry, but by logic and a scientific approach. "The Oneness of existence" is the conclusion in the Upanishads. By the science of centripetal and centrifugal evolution, the Oneness enjoys His divine play.

Foreword
Religion, ceremonies, and rituals are universal when they are essentially based on Truth. When people do not realize Truth, they become sectarian. Understanding is desirable and there is a need for its overhaul. Sadhana (spiritual practice) is an inward journey. Great treasures of humanism and a fathomless mine of spiritual wealth lie within the hearts of human beings.

Those who worship Truth value what is within and what is without. The endeavor to reconcile the Spirit within and the matter without is a seeker's perennial effort. Ingrained samskaras (impressions) are the greatest impediment to spiritual progress. Mankind is drawn into a dilemma when we believe that prana (life force) is the only ingredient of eternal creation. Matter and prana are two products of atma (consciousness absolute). Perception of non-Self (anatma bodha) is the only human sin. It hides Truth from us. Life after life, through the ages, we live in the world of the dead, deprived of eternal joy and beauty of Truth.

Introduction
It has been fourteen or fifteen years since I started discoursing on satya pratistha (establishment in Truth). You have heard and learned a lot and maybe realized a little. I have been harping on the same string to increase your understanding. I feel delighted. to see that you have realized that what I have been saying is not a figment of imagination, but an echo of the immortal message of the rishis. I never learn scriptures by rote and recite them. I say what I see, and you will find an echo of the scriptures in it. I have told you that spiritual sadhana does not hinge on bookish knowledge. What I have seen and experienced, I have stated. One does not have to learn swimming on the floor before getting into the water. One must enter the water to learn how to swim. I never intend to say that admonition or advice is not helpful, but rather that a guru's advice or counsel is firm, lively, quick, and effective, because the guru is a visionary seer and is conscious of mantra. I have written down as much as I could; now it is for you to publish, if you so desire.
