About the Book

"Sankaradeva," according to the late Prof. Vasudev Sharan Agarwal, "was like the glorious sun under whose warmth of mind Assam blossomed like a lotus of thousand petals."

About the Author

Dr. Maheswar Neog, professor at Guwahati University, was a well-known scholar and indologist besides being well versed in Assamese language and literature.
