Book Description
About the Book
The modern age is the age of Science. Science has played a vital role in the making of modern society by way of developing technological know-how, In the other words, the main thrust of modern science has been toward the samskaras of Materia things and developed a technology to promote the convenience and comfort of human beings. But modern science has failed to developed a technique for the samskara of a human being to transform him/her into a perfect human being Vedic Science came up with a technique of transforming a human being into divine being or perfect human being. According to Vedic Science, there are 10 samskaras that play an important role in shaping the life of an individual. An individual is supposed to undergo the process of samskaras even before birth for being transformed into a perfect human being. This book is the third Magnum Opus of a great Indian seer Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati. The book first time gives scientific explanation of all the samskaras. The mantras referred to in the book have been rendered with Sanskrit text, Roman transliteration and English translation for the easy understanding the readers, researchers and chaplains.

Preface
The modern age is the age of Science. Science has played a vital role in the making of modern society by way of developing technological know-how. In the other words, the main thrust of modern science has been toward the sanskaras of material things. The modern technique of refinement, modification, purification and processing the material things is known in Vedic science as sanskaras. Charaka defines the term sanskäras as under: संस्कारो हि गुणान्तरधानमुच्यते । sariskāro hi guņāntaradhānamuchyate Sarmskāras means transformation of human being. Thus we can say that modern science has given stress upon the sarmskāras of material things and developed a technology to promote the convenience and comfort of human beings. Here there is a basic difference between the concept of Vedic Science and modern science. Vedic science gave more thrust to the sarmskāras of human beings as compared to material things. According to Vedic science, a human being who has not undergone through a certain process of samskāras remains in his crude form and is recognized as no better than an animal. As such a human being is not considered to be an actual social being. In material things also we can see, that so long as they are in their crude form, they cannot have their practical application. For their practical application, the material things have to undergo particular sarmskāras or processing. For instance, oil in its crude form cannot be used to operate cars, buses, and airplanes, but after undergoing the process of refinement it becomes usable.
