Before going further, it is essential to know the difference between Vedas and Vedic. Vedas are the texts consisting of Mantras having self-emerged streams of knowledge according to Ancient Indian Tradition being called Apaurusheya Texts. They are: Rgveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and Atharva Veda. Among this Yajurveda is again has two divisions by names Krishna Yajurveda and Shukla Yajurveda. Besides these, the Brahmanas, Aranyakas, Upanishads and Sutra Texts, are broadly called by the name VEDAS. Where as VEDIC covers even such sections of literature which have been developed in later times with great faith in the VEDAS. Thus, along with VEDA SAMHITAS (Mantra Bhaga), Brahmanas, Aranyakas, Upanishads and sutra granthas, Six Astika Darshanas, Dharma Sastras, Itihasas. Puranas, 350 Sastras enlisted in the Mahabharata and Mahabhashya, Upavedas, Agamas and such other branches of knowledge also have been considered VEDIC.
