Foreword
The book 'SPARKLES AND SPRINKLES' is a collection from Mahatma Gandhi's speeches and writings. It is a tribute to humanity by this crusader of freedom. Gandhi was the only man to sharpen his tool Viz. 'Satyagtraha' and 'Non-Violence', from time to time, to face the repressive Raj of the British on every count, effectively, throughout his life. His humanity was not confined to our people only, but to humans everywhere. No one else could stimulate righteous action coupled with love and self-dignity like Gandhi even when he was subjected to physical torture in South Africa. The unbending will of the Father of our Nation to any kind of force could be said to be the hall-mark of resistance par excellence. And therefore, Gandhiji always remained the greatest warrior of peaceful resistance and the like of whom as an instance, goes back to two thousand years to Jesus of Nazareth. If Jesus suffered at the hands of Roman kings, Gandhiji in the Queen's Pride of the British Empire.
