Description

Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a universally revered spiritual and humanitarian leader. His vision of a violence-free, stress-free society through the reawakening of human values has inspired millions to broaden their spheres of responsibility and work towards betterment of the world.

Gurudev has reached out to an estimated 300 million people worldwide through personal interactions, public events, teachings, Art of Living workshops and humanitarian initiatives.

Tejasvini is an expression of a longing heart and seeking soul and the journey ended when it caught the eyes of the Master - lost and found!

This book is dedicated to my parents for my very existence.

Your Master can bring you to your radiant Self which is what you are. Time and again, He reminds you of this through His living example. Just by following Him, you gain insight into different realms of your own Being and the Universe as well.

Gurudev says, ''Meditation is seeing God within you." The knowledge shared in Tejasvini, flows from a meditative state of consciousness. I feel grateful to share it with many seeking hearts.

I have been fortunate that in Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, I have a brother who has always been a role model, my Satguru and an inspiration for life. Tejasvini is an expression of my joy and gratitude in following His footsteps.

Prologue

Tejasvini is a journey from the outer world of names and forms to the subtle world of energies, to the innermost core of our being - the Self.

The body is the gross layer, mind is more subtle and the Self is the most subtle. The Self is formless (niraakar), beyond both mind and body and encompasses both.

Idols (Vigrahas) are conceptualized forms (akaars) of divinity. The various aspects of the divine energy are represented by the attributes of the vigrahas.

Yantras help us to move into the world of subtle energies beyond vigrahas. Beyond yantras is the field of mantras. Every yantra is governed by specific mantras, concerning a specific field of energy. Being the subtlest, the mantras can help us transcend into the space of the Self, Chidakasha.

The journey is from akaar (form) to nirakaar (formless), vigrahas to mantras to the Self, finite to infinite. This blossoming happens effortlessly through the presence and grace of an enlightened Master - The Satguru.

Tejasvini takes the seeker step by step in this inward journey. The vigrahas and their significance is explained which will help one to look beyond the form and imbibe or manifest the qualities of the divine as represented by that form. Then an insight is given about yantras and mantras, the subtle dimensions of existence. This is to invoke the spirit of enquiry in the reader.

When read with awareness and shraddha, tejasvini will uplift the consciousness and open up new dimensions of understanding, clarifying doubts and creating wonderment - vismayo yoga bhoomika.

I bought DVs supposed to receive 55 in the set instead got 48 and was in bad condition appears used and dusty. I contacted the seller to return the product and the gave 100% credit with apologies. I am very grateful because I had bought and will continue to buy products here and have never received defective product until now. I bought paintings saris..etc and always pleased with my purchase until now. But I want to say a public thank you to whom it may concern for giving me the credit. Thank you. Navieta.

I have always enjoyed browsing through the website. I was recently in south India, and was amazed to note that the bronze statues made in Kumbakonam and Thanjavur had similar pricing as Exotic India.
