Reading stories is interesting to both the young and the old alike. Stories with good values hold the readers in good stead throughout their life, if the values they teach are followed in daily life. Bhagawan's love for the welfare of the students is immeasurable. He treats them as His only property and spends a lot of time in advising and guiding the youth for their good. Summer Showers in Brindavan 1977 comprises of 27 discourses on Ramayana graciously given by Bhagawan during the Summer Course that was held during May 1977 for the benefit of college students. The discourses were delivered in such a way that they appeal to the youth, revealing the ideals taught by every character of Ramayana. These ideals and lessons are a must for the present day youth to be followed in their daily life. If faithfully followed, they are bound to become not only good citizens but good leaders as well. "I am hoping that you will not forget what you have learnt here, that you will recapitulate them and keep on thinking of them... What you have learnt should enter into your blood vessels and all the time it should manifest itself from your interior. I am hoping that you will remember all the good thitys that you have listened during your stay here and put them into practice in your daily life and enjoy the bliss thereof and be of some service and help to the community around you." - Baba
