The folk art is not based on a system. The artist frees himself of accepted symbols. This art exhibits natural beauty and charm which appeals to the heart and leaves an indelible print on our minds.

In this painting, the artist eliminates the rigid compartmentalization of scenes. There is no dividing line between the merging of one scene and the emergence of another. The two lower corners of the painting are occupied by women who have baskets full of toys perched on their heads. These toys are not just models of birds and animals in clay and wood but imaginations of a creative mind. These women stand behind trees which are in full bloom. Spring seems to be the season with ample leaves on each branch and bright flowers to enliven the tree. The space between the trees is filled with toys which are imaginative and colourful. To erase any ambiguity in understanding, the artist has given their local names under each toy. Around the toys are a couple of women/girl figures also who are heading towards the toys. This is done in order to explain the popularity of these local toys.

The painting shows the artists preference for simple outlines, simplification of colours and volumes, so that shading is completely eliminated. These simple items of oft use lend a decorative element to the painting.

This is to inform you that the shipment of my order has arrived in perfect condition. The actual shipment took only less than two weeks, which is quite good seen the circumstances. I waited with my response until now since the Buddha statue was a present that I handed over just recently. The Medicine Buddha was meant for a lady who is active in the healing business and the statue was just the right thing for her. I downloaded the respective mantras and chants so that she can work with the benefits of the spiritual meanings of the statue and the mantras. She is really delighted and immediately fell in love with the beautiful statue. I am most grateful to you for having provided this wonderful work of art. We both have a strong relationship with Buddhism and know to appreciate the valuable spiritual power of this way of thinking. So thank you very much again and I am sure that I will come back again.
