Q1. What is Dasa Mahavidyas?

Dasa or Dasha Mahavidya (Ten Great Wisdoms) is the expansions of the Primordial Great Mother Goddess- AdiShakti or Para Shakti, who manifests herself as Mahakali. They rule over the creation and destruction of the Universe and are worshipped in the Hindu Tantra as the supreme entities, who are above all, including the three great gods- Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the sustainer), and Shiva (the annihilator). The Dasa Mahavidya cluster includes- the goddess Kali, Tara, Shodashi, Bhairavi, Chinnamasta, Dhumavati, Bagulamukhi, Matangi, and Kamala.
