About the CD "Morning Chants" is a new series featuring albums that encompasses the traditional and popular range of chants and kirtans. Morning chants are recited for an auspicious beginning of the day that leads to prosperity and harmony in our lives. It is traditionally believed by Hindus that a daily recitation of morning chants during the auspicious period of 'Brahma-Muhurat' gives one immense benefit leading to a greater spiritual fulfillment. This part of the day is full of goodness and when the mind is in its purest form. Energy levels are the highest, and the mind is full of enthusiasm and excitement. This album contains traditional kirtans and mantras that have been carefully selected that will bestow us with the utmost benefit.

Morning chants aid morning meditation and creates a very tender, calming and refreshing meditative mood that helps us step out of sleep and into a harmonious waking state. If heard at dawn and during the early morning it serves as a healing agent and increases personal magnetism.
