A young woman is kidnapped on the night of her marriage, and comes back unmolested. But yet her husband throws her out and she is left alone to fend for herself. When her husband tries to rape her one night, the village council terms her a prostitute. But Soni, the young woman decides to fight for her rights. And how she wins this battle and how her love overcomes all the obstacles is the central theme of this saga of a wronged woman.
