The science of yoga as propounded by Patanjali has been looked upon as a path to establish the union of the human soul with the Supreme Being. Once considered to be the domain of the Rishis and the Munis it has in recent times started gaining ground as alternative therapy for restoring the harmony of the body and the mind for the layman as well, Through its various techniques like the “Mudras” (gestures), the “pranayama”(the regulation of breath) and the “Shavasana” (the Corpse posture) the yoga offers a remedy to relieve stress and anxiety, to overcome anger and insomnia. It as if transforms pain into relief, sorrow into joy and sickness into perfect health.
It is this therapeutic aspect of yoga that has prompted Dr. Kalpana and Mrs Rajalakshmi to devise a program that can benefit each and every Sadhaka, be he a novice or trained practitioner. Based on selected “Mudras”, Pranayama and shavasan (with Visualization), it offers an easy, step by step method of relaxing and revitalizing the entire body and the mind. What is even better is that this program can be undertaken in its entirely or in segments to suit the available time frame of the individual. Accompanied by a soothing musical score, the program evokes feelings of serenity and bliss.

|3.||Those with neck problems like spondylitis, vertigo should not bow their head down|
