A bead is the basic item in creating necklaces, bracelets, anklets or earrings. Small beads such as this has a wider repertoire of design due to its multi-utility size. Here a round bead has been made to look like a barrel owing to the design which incorporates braided wires and flat round dots. Starting from the middle are two twisted wires with small dots (not granules) placed on either side, close to each other, yet not overlapping. They almost entirely cover the plain surface, leaving just about space for another round of the twisted wire before it ends into the perforated holes which are here slightly raised for convenience of stringing.
