Precious metals like gold and silver have always caught the fancy of Indian women. Not only ornaments, but accessories made of silver are common with them. This silver purse dangling on a long, sturdy chain is outstanding for its workmanship of deep carving. Crafted out of a silver sheet, intrinsic work is done in flat relief. Rows of blooming flowers from the main pattern, since nature plays a vital role in influencing artistic endeavour. The base of the floral rows has an engraved scalloping. The flat of the purse is connected via a hinge, which also has similar floral pattern, scalloped at the end, where a small latch like clasp is hinged. It is secured by fitting on to a small silver bead.

The chain to the purse is attached by two hooks on either side, that can be easily detached, depending on one's individual style. A silver piece worked with great dexterity.
