Hanuman: The Embodiment of Devotion and Strength

During the fierce battle between Rama’s army and Ravana’s forces, Lakshmana, Rama’s brother, was struck down by a poisoned arrow. Desperate, Rama sought the counsel of Sushena, the physician, who revealed that only the Sanjivani herb, found on the Dronagiri mountain in the Himalayas, could restore Lakshmana to life. Undeterred, and with no time to spare, Hanuman uprooted the entire mountain and carried it back to Lanka. Sushena then identified and administered the Sanjivani, miraculously reviving Lakshmana and turning the tide of the battle.
