Madhya Pradesh Man and Woman
As the name implies, Madhya Pradesh is situated in the central part of India. It is mostly an elevated region consisting of the Malwa plateau interspersed with the hill range of the Vindhyas and the Sapura. The man wears a white dhoti with a scarf round his shoulders tied at the waist with a sash. The striped turban and a coin necklace are the only other things he wears. The woman wears a simple cotton sari. Cowrie shell armlets, glass bangles and necklaces complete her attire.
