Venkatagiri saris are the simple and elegant cotton and zari weaves from the southern coastal town of venkatagiri in Andhra Pradesh. The weaves are plain and sometimes checked, both small and big. The border is the most important part of the sari, which is usually woven in zari with peacock or floral motifs

This venkatgiri sari is in a navy blue color with self-checks all over the body of the sari. The border is the most beautiful part with dancing peacocks woven in zari on a red background.
