South cottons are the traditional weaves of south India woven in the Kanjeevaram style but in soft cottons. They are beautiful weaves with traditional borders, that are the part of the everyday and religious temple life of Kanjeevaram.
This is a dress that comes from the looms of the weavers of south India. Woven in a double color of brown and green alternating in a wavy pattern, there are small white butis on the kameeez. The kameez has short hands. The dress is accompanied by a plain cotton salwar. The accompanying dupatta is in cotton and green color with small white butis. The ends of the dupatta are exquisitely woven with the traditional motifs of the mango leaf pattern with floral weave inside them, making the entire dupatta very rich and fabulous.
