This sari is a real treat in silk. The body of the sari is in a double shade that is formed with the weave of green and tissue threads. Such combinations are mostly used in weaving Canjeevaram saris. There are small floral butis on the sari. The border of the sari has ornately woven flowers all along it.

The pallav is rich and intricate with large mango leaf patterns that are woven to form floral shapes. These patterns are closely woven to give fullness and the richness to the pallav.
