South cotton saris are exquisitely woven with rich borders and pallavs. They make an excellent evening and formal wear. Their crisp cotton texture gives a certain kind of elegance to the wearer making her stand out in the crowd. The crisp texture also gives a bouncy look to the sari and its wearer. These are counterparts of the Canjeevarams woven in cotton

This south cotton sari comes with a mustard body, which is plain. The border is woven in zari with a green background and zari circles in a continuous series. This design is a constant feature of the Kanjeevaram tradition. The pallav is simple with black and zari vertical lines.
